A luxury spa has been shortlisted for three national awards just months after reopening.
SubRosa at The Grand in York has been named a finalist in the 2026 Good Spa Guide Awards, less than a year after unveiling its £2.8 million refurbishment.
The spa is in the running for Best New Spa, Best Spa in the North-East, and Best Boutique Hotel Spa.
Emma Sorby, spa director at SubRosa, said: "These nominations represent so much more than the spa itself – they represent the unwavering dedication of the team since launch."

She added: "To be recognised by the Good Spa Guide is such an honour, and being recognised in our first year of operation is truly special.
"We are so grateful for everyone who has visited, and we cannot wait for the next eight months."
Since reopening, the spa has exceeded booking and revenue forecasts, prompting changes to booking capacities, membership structures, and visiting times, The Grand has said.
Additional therapists and receptionists have also been hired.
SubRosa features a full thermal suite, hydrotherapy pool, two saunas, two steam rooms, a relaxation room, and a Salt and Light Therapy room.
It is home to Yorkshire’s only Double Moroccan Hammam, a traditional exfoliating treatment dating back to the 7th century.
The spa is also the first in Yorkshire to stock Seabody, an Irish skincare brand that uses marine biotechnology to harvest coastal seaweed.
SubRosa recently earned a 5-Bubble Lux accreditation from the Good Spa Guide and will host the UK Spa Association Conference in November, which Ms Sorby described as a "privilege".
Voting for the Good Spa Guide Awards closes on August 31.
