A Pocklington-based recruitment firm has entered voluntary liquidation.
Opus Recruitment Ltd of 19 Railway Street has left a deficit of over £20,000.
The business was launched eight years ago with Jonathan David Spooner and Sarah Juliet Woods listed as its directors.
Redmond Nichols Butler of Driffield were appointed liquidators on July 27.

A report known as a Statement of Affairs says the company had assets of £5,467, consisting of cash in the hands of accountants, leaving a surplus of £5,467 available to preferential creditors- those who are paid first.
Opus Recruitment owed HMRC £977 as a secondary preferential creditor, leaving a surplus of £4,490. It also owed Quba Solutions £1 through a financial device known as a floating charge, leaving a surplus of £4,489 to non-preferential creditors.
The report lists the non-preferential claims totalling £24,365. They consist of trade creditors owed £20767, HMRC owed £1, and ‘connected creditors’ (Directors Mr J Spooner and Miss S Woods) owed £3,867.
This left an estimated deficit to unsecured creditors (those who are paid last) of £20,146. With the business having issued and called up capital of £100, this left and outstanding deficit of debt of £20,246, the statement added.
