North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a field fire off a main road in North Yorkshire.
A Harrogate crew responded to an unsupervised fire measuring five metres-squared off the A59 in Whixley between York and Harrogate at 11.09am on Tuesday (August 18).
A spokesperson for the service said: “Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and prevented further spread.”
