A city cruise company has announced special summer deals as part of a new week-long celebration of attractions.
City Cruises York is offering up to 50 per cent off river experiences during the inaugural York Attractions' Week, which runs from August 17 to 23.
Chris Pegg, Head of Regional Commercial, Sales & Marketing, City Cruises, said: "York has so much to offer, and we're keen to give residents and visitors even more reasons to explore what's on their doorstep and rediscover the city this summer.
"York Attractions' Week is about making sure everyone can share in it, with our attractions coming together so there's something for everyone.
"It's collaboration at its best, and exactly the kind of thing that makes York special."
The cruise company is offering 50 per cent off its daytime sightseeing cruises from Wednesday to Saturday, 25 per cent off self-drive boats from Wednesday to Friday, and 25 per cent off its daily strawberries and cream cruises.
These offers are part of a wider scheme that includes discounted entry at other popular attractions.
The York Dungeon, York Cocoa Works, and Go Ape are also taking part in the week-long event, which aims to encourage both residents and visitors to explore more of the city.
