A TRAILER has been stolen from a farm in rural North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for help in locating a stolen trailer that was taken from a farm in Plompton, near Harrogate, last week.

The theft happened at 1am on August 11 and saw thieves take a 10 foot x 5 foot "Graham Edwards" 3.5 galvanised tipping trailer.

"If you know the current whereabouts of this trailer or spot it on the roads please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101," said a spokesperson for the force.
