A motorist who drove on the wrong side of the road with her headlights off to avoid being caught speeding has avoided receiving any points on her licence.
Layla Mustafa, 20, faced a driving disqualification after committing the offence in October last year.
However, court papers show she did not receive penalty points when the case was brought before Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court last month.

Court papers show Mustafa, who admitted one charge each of speeding and driving without due care and attention, was fined £120.
Average speed cameras are likely to be installed on a major district road in Yorkshire later this year.
The cameras had previously been proposed for the A629 between Keighley and North Yorkshire.
In a recent question councillor Peter Kirk (Cons, Airedale) asked when the cameras were likely to be installed.
He was told the cameras will be fitted between Hard Ings in Keighley and Silsden.
The response to his question has just been published.
The council executive said: “The proposal to install average speed cameras on the A629 between Keighley and Silsden is progressing well and remains on track for delivery later this year.
“The scheme is being introduced to improve compliance with speed limits along the route and will cover the section between Hard Ings Roundabout and Silsden Roundabout within West Yorkshire.
“North Yorkshire Police will continue to carry out mobile enforcement on the section beyond Silsden.
“Installation and testing are expected later this year, with the impact of the scheme reviewed after implementation to assess its effectiveness in improving road safety.”
