A DRIVER is facing having his licence revoked less than two years after passing his test after police seized an Audi in Bradford.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford East team carried out a document check after the vehicle was flagged for having an expired MOT.
Series of motoring offences discovered
Police found the Audi had been without a valid MOT since June 2026 and had no valid vehicle excise licence (road tax) since April 2026.
Officers also reported that the driver was not shown as insured to drive the vehicle and was unable to provide proof of alternative insurance.
Licence now at risk
The driver was already carrying five penalty points on his licence from a previous incident.
Under rules for newly-qualified drivers, accumulating six or more penalty points within the first two years of passing a driving test can result in a licence being revoked.
