A patient has been taken to hospital after a crash in North Yorkshire which left a car flipped onto its side.

The crash happened at around 2pm on Sunday (August 16) in Manfield. It has not yet been confirmed how many vehicles were involved in the collision.

'Concerned' police believe missing woman may have travelled to London

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received an emergency call at 1.59pm to a report of a road traffic incident in Manfield.

"Two ambulances and a team leader were dispatched to the scene, and one patient was conveyed to hospital."
