Darlington's Market Square is preparing for a Fairytales and Legends Day this week, with a variety of free activities for all ages.
The annual event, which will take place on Thursday, August 20, will run from 11am to 3pm, and promises a range of attractions.
Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favourite fairytale characters.
What's on?
A series of meet-and-greet sessions with well-loved characters such as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan, Moana and Snow White, and Jesse and Woody, are scheduled throughout the day.
These sessions will take place at various locations around the town, including Skinnergate, Queen Street Shopping Centre, Max Spielmann on Northgate, and Cornmill Shopping Centre.
The Market Square will host a meet-and-greet session before a show at 2.15pm.
The day will also include a free trail around the town centre, offering collectables for participants.

Theatre enthusiasts can look forward to a live production in the Market Square, providing an additional layer of entertainment.
