A new café is preparing to open its doors for the first time in Bishop Auckland.
Morgan’s, which specialises in loaded jacket potatoes, will be opening on Fore Bondgate.
The announcement was made in a Facebook post last Friday (August 14).
The post read: "Something special is coming to Fore Bondgate.
"Serving up proper loaded jacket potatoes, big sandwiches and good coffee – all from our brand-new home at 2A Fore Bondgate.
"The doors are nearly ready, and we can’t wait to welcome you in."

Social media users have been quick to show the new business their support: "Fab, another nice shop added to Bondgate, good luck."
The Edge, a unisex hairdresser, was the previous tenant located in this unit.
According to Google, the opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, 7.30am to 2pm.
