A woman has been given a community order for assaulting two police officers in County Durham on March 28, 2026.
Rebeka Richardson, 25, of Dene Park, Esh Winning, pleaded guilty at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on August 13 to assaulting the offices while they were on duty.
The court was told the assaults happened in Durham and Esh Winning, respectively, on March 28.
For each assault, Richardson received a community order ending November 10, requiring her to abstain from alcohol for 90 days and remain at her home address between 5pm and midnight until August 15.

This will be monitored with specialist equipment.
Richardson was ordered to pay £50 in compensation to the one officer and £30 to the other.
She must also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £114 victim surcharge.
The court made a collection order for these payments, and deductions from benefits were applied. Her guilty pleas were taken into account.
