A former police officer is alleged to have saved inappropriate images to his phone from a stag do Whatsapp group chat.
Ex-officer Callum Storr will face a misconduct panel between September 7 and 9 to conclude whether his behaviour breached standards of professional behaviour.
It is alleged that in 2018, PC1516 Storr was a member of Whatsapp group ‘Big Rose Stag Do’.
North Yorkshire Police say that in October of that year, he saved two 'category five' inappropriate images sent in the chat.
It is further alleged that, three years later, while on duty, PC Storr is said to have been briefed about a woman, referred to only as Ms A, and warned about interactions with her due to her history of relationships with officers.
PC Storr is said to have attended her home in 2021, following a report of domestic abuse, and made contact with her months later.

He is then accused of entering into an "inappropriate and sexual" relationship with her.
North Yorkshire Police say the allegations, if proven, may breach rules on discreditable conduct, alongside authority, respect and courtesy.
The hearing will take place in Northallerton.
