BAFTA-winning production company The Garden is hunting for ordinary people to put their survival skills to the ultimate test in a potential second series of Channel 4’s major new show, Apocalypse.**
What would you do if civilisation as we know it came to an end? If you were stripped of light, power, running water, and heat in a ruined urban environment, how would you cope?
The Garden—the acclaimed production company behind global hits like Squid Game: The Challenge,* 24 Hours in A&E*, and* 24 Hours in Police Custody*—is launching the brand-new series on Channel 4 this September. Ahead of the premiere, casting teams are already on the lookout for a diverse cross-section of people for a potential second series.
The immersive social experiment challenges ordinary citizens to survive and thrive for 28 days without any of the comforts of 21st-century life, examining human resilience when pushed to the absolute edge of existence.
Who are they looking for?
The producers are seeking a wide range of people with ingenuity, resilience, and the courage to put themselves to the test. Crucially, no previous survival experience is necessary to apply.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
- Residency: Must be a UK or Republic of Ireland resident with a valid passport.
- Availability: Applicants must be able to take up to 5 weeks off work to be abroad for filming during February, March, or April 2027 (reasonable loss of earnings will be recompensed).
