Harvey Nichols' future in Yorkshire is uncertain following a takeover by Frasers Group.
The store in Leeds, one of six UK locations now under Frasers' ownership, may face restructuring that could see changes to its operation.
The acquisition by Frasers, which includes the retailer's online business and international franchise agreements, comes after Harvey Nichols entered administration.

More than 1,000 employees have been transferred as part of the deal.
Frasers' chief executive, Michael Murray, stated that "meaningful change is needed" in the business, hinting at possible downsizing in the short term.
The company is reviewing the retailer's store portfolio, operating model, organisational structure, and costs.
While there is no confirmed outcome for the Leeds store, the review has left employees, suppliers, and city-centre retail stakeholders on alert for potential changes.
It comes as joint liquidators have been appointed to the Harvey Nichols in Dundrum town centre, Dublin, after the luxury department store was unable to pay its debts, as reported by Drapers and The Sun.
Addressing its new ownership, Harvey Nichols says on its website: "We are pleased to confirm that Harvey Nichols has entered an exciting new chapter with new ownership, supporting its future, under the Frasers Group.
"Harvey Nichols is currently unavailable online whilst we complete a period of transition.
"In the meantime, our stores remain open, and our teams are on hand to assist with anything you may need.
"Thank you for your continued support."
When it comes to online orders and gift cards bought before August 13, 2026, customers are asked to contact the retailer, which has been around for 195 years.
It explains: "Orders placed and Gift Cards purchased prior to August 13, 2026 fall under the ownership structure preceding this transition.
"Refunds relating to these orders cannot be processed by Harvey Nichols directly; customers with an outstanding refund from this period are asked to contact HNCustomers@fticonsulting.com.
"Orders placed from August 13, 2026 onwards will be processed under our standard refunds and returns policy."
It has been a tough year for the UK high street, with several other retailers entering administration or liquidation and others announcing widespread store closures.
Major high street brands LK Bennett, Claire's and Quiz have been forced to close all their remaining stores after falling into administration.
UK fashion retailer Leading Labels is also set to close its remaining 15 stores after falling into liquidation.
Whitbread recently confirmed it will be closing all its UK restaurants in September.
