A MAN was racially abused and his car was damaged after an 'incident' in a North Yorkshire town.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for help to identify a man following a racially aggravated incident in Harrogate.

The incident took place in Ripon Road, where a man was racially abused and had his car attacked as he drove along.

"We believe the man in the image will have information that could help our investigation," said a spokesperson for the force.
