A crash is causing problems near York this morning (Monday).
It’s on the A19 north of Shipton by Beningbrough, close to the crossroads with Chapman’s Lane and Ambler’s Lane.
Emergency services are on the scene.

A YorkMix Radio listener says the road is closed between Chapman’s Lane and East Lane Road. Police are turning traffic around with a fire engine and police vehicles blocking the road.
The AA reports: “Road blocked and slow traffic due to crash on A19 Main Street both ways from Newton Grange turn-off to East Lane.”
Traffic is slow in both directions. More as we get it.
