Police searching for a missing 22-year-old believe he has entered the River Tyne.
A desperate search is currently underway to find Liam, who was last seen heading towards Wylam from Wylam Bridge, Northumberland, shortly after midnight on Saturday (August 15).
Liam had spent a night out with friends before he vanished - with efforts to try and locate him, including searches of the river, ongoing since then.
Northumbria Police has today confirmed that, at this stage, it is believed that Liam has entered the water.
Officers have now also shared more details on a crash that took place on Wylam Bridge that evening before Liam went missing, saying they believe he was on the bridge at the time.

The force said officers received a report of a disturbance at a nearby premises and a subsequent crash on Wylam Bridge involving a vehicle and a group of pedestrians.
A man and woman, each aged in their 20s, both sustained serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two people in the vehicle fled the scene on foot prior to police arriving, but two men aged 22 and 23 were arrested in connection and have since been bailed.

While police confirmed that Liam was on the bridge at the time of the crash, he was not an occupant of the vehicle and there are no reports suggesting that he was injured in the collision.
He subsequently left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate him.
Liam’s next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Robson from Northumbria Police, said: “Our searches for Liam continue but due to a range of factors, we are unable to provide a timescale for how long we will be searching in the area.
