A HISTORIC agricultural show drew record crowds and entries as it returns for its 155th year.
The Rosedale Show, held in the village of Rosedale in the North York Moors National Park, took place on Saturday, August 15, with record-breaking entries.
A spokesperson for the show said: "The nationwide heat wave thankfully relented on Saturday 15 August for Show Day in Rosedale which went ahead on the Milburn Field in the village in balmy conditions.
"There was a record breaking 2,600 show entries in this year's Show catalogue and the large crowds of locals and visitors to the dale - thought to be around 5,000 - enjoyed the programme of agricultural, horticultural and industrial exhibits, along with a wide variety of arena events, trade stands, musical performances and food outlets.
