Bubbles, birds of prey and a big wheel took over a Bishop Auckland park as the Family Festival returned to the town.
Thousands flocked to watch magic shows, a circus, and birds soaring across the Jane Armstrong Park on Saturday (August 15) for the third iteration of the popular event.
Youngsters tucked into 99s, gazed in awe at acrobats, and maybe even tried to knock down tin cans in a fun fair game or two across the afternoon.

The event, which was run by Baccanalia, was free to attend for the whole family and has seen numbers steadily growing each year, with 4,000 expected to have visited yesterday.
Each iteration of the festival has seen a different theme - the first being LEGO, followed by carboniferous monsters last year, and a circus theme in 2026.
