A viral TikToker who visited a County Durham town showed empty shops and quiet streets - but residents say there's more to the story.
Social media creator Chumble stopped off in Bishop Auckland in January, as part of a mission to visit every town in the UK.
In the video, he showed shuttered businesses, a struggling shopping centre and what he described as the "roughest" Wetherspoon he had ever visited.
Pointing out multiple vacant lots, Chumble said: "There’s loads of shops, but 50 per cent of them are all closed down."
He also referred to Newgate Shopping Centre as "one of the worst shopping centres I've seen."
The Stanley Jefferson Wetherspoon's pub was brutally branded "the roughest spoons you'll ever go to in your life."
He wasn't alone in his concerns for the high street, with a local man stopping to share his views on the best and worst parts about Bishop Auckland.
He said: "It's a lovely little market town where you can peacefully walk up and down."
Many felt the TikToker's assessment overlooked some of the town's biggest attractions and ongoing investment looking to give the high street a new lease of life.
The annual Kynren event - an outdoor historical spectacle which attracts thousands of visitors to Bishop Auckland each year - was one attraction viewers said Chumble missed out in his review.

Others pointed to Auckland Castle, museums and galleries that have become key parts of the town's tourism offer also.
One resident said: "The castle is really good, especially at Christmas when GLO is on."

While some residents agreed the town centre has changed over the years, many felt that the issues Chumble talked about are being seen across the country rather than being unique to Bishop Auckland.
One wrote: "Towns in general are dying out, retail parks are thriving."
The video has since attracted thousands of views, with many residents keen to comment on the landmarks, attractions and community spirit they believe make Bishop Auckland worth visiting.
