Man charged with attempted murder after woman seriously injured

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 54-year-old woman was seriously injured at a house in Honley.

Police investigating a serious assault on a woman at a house in Honley, have charged a man with attempted murder.

Daniel Augustus, 40 of Roundway, has been charged with the attempted murder of a 54-year-old woman at a house on Roundway on Thursday (Aug 13).

Augustus, who self-defines as white British, has been remanded to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (Aug 15).

The woman who suffered serious injuries, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
