A day of sunshine, ice cream, and property advice was held at a village in East Riding.

Bellway Homes’ part-exchange event took place at its Penny Way development in Snaith last weekend, offering visitors a chance to explore the scheme while enjoying family-friendly activities.

Visitors were treated to a bouncy castle, lawn games, and free ice cream, while part-exchange manager Vicki Shanks was on hand to offer advice, book appointments, and arrange property valuations.

Melanie Smith, sales director at Bellway Yorkshire, said: "It was a great day with people who've recently moved to Penny Way enjoying the sunshine and fun with those considering the move.

"And we had a lot of interest and have taken one reservation on the back of it."

The event aimed to highlight the ease of Bellway’s part-exchange scheme, which allows buyers to trade in their existing home for a new Bellway property.

Ms Smith added: "Our part-exchange scheme is loved by everyone who uses it.

"It makes buying and selling a home easy, leaving buyers happily living in their new home wondering what all the fuss about stress was."

The Penny Way development offers a range of two- to five-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £209,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached property and rising to £524,995 for a five-bedroom home with a double garage.

Homes are designed with modern buyers in mind and include energy-saving features such as solar PV panels, EV car chargers, Smart Thermostats, and increased insulation.
