An object caught in the overhead wires between Doncaster and Retford has led to train delays this morning.
Earlier trains through Doncaster were cancelled or delayed. The object has now been removed but continued delays are expected.
LNER customer advice:
The lines have reopened following some effective work by Network Rail. Delays are still expected due to the disruption, please check your journey before you travel
Hull Trains customer advice:
You should continue to travel as planned; however, your journey may be delayed.
Meanwhile, buses replace trains between Leeds and York / Selby today and tomorrow (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August).
It’s to allow for engineering work.
