EMERGENCY services were called after a person got stuck in a lift in North Yorkshire.
Firefighters in Scarborough responded to the call and helped the individual at 6.22pm on Friday evening, using lift keys to safely release them.

The call-out was one of a series of incidents attended by North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service overnight including reports of smoke, controlled garden fires and false alarms.
