The Met Office has forecast the weekend weather across Malton.

Saturday will start off mild, with temperatures around 19°C at 6am, but will cool down to 15°C by lunchtime.

The chance of rain is low, starting at 10–20 per cent in the morning and dropping to below 5 per cent by midday.

Winds will be light at around 5 mph.

In the afternoon, temperatures will rise again, reaching 20°C by 5pm.

The risk of rain remains below 5 per cent, and winds will increase slightly to around 5–7 mph.

The evening will be warm, with temperatures reaching 23°C at 10pm.

The chance of rain remains below 5 per cent, and winds will stay light at around 5–7 mph.

After the late-evening warmth, temperatures will fall quickly, reaching around 16°C later in the night.

Winds will become increasingly light, eventually falling to around 2–3 mph.

Sunday will be cooler than Saturday but generally pleasant, with very light winds.

There is a greater chance of showers during the afternoon and early evening.

The morning will start off cool at around 11°C at 6am, before warming steadily to 20°C by midday.

The chance of rain will increase from 10 per cent to 20 per cent by midday, and winds will be exceptionally light at just 2–5 mph.

In the afternoon, temperatures will settle around 20–21°C.

The chance of rain will remain at 20 per cent through much of the early and mid-afternoon, falling to 10 per cent around 4–5pm.

Winds will remain light at approximately 4–5 mph.

Most of the afternoon should still be suitable for outdoor plans, but a brief shower can't be ruled out.

In the evening, temperatures will gradually fall from 20°C at 6pm to around 15°C by 10–11pm.

There is a 20 per cent chance of rain around 6–7pm, decreasing to 10 per cent later.

Winds will briefly reach around 6 mph before becoming very light again late in the evening.

Sunday night should be cool and calm, with temperatures around the mid-teens by 11pm and winds dropping to approximately 2 mph.
