THE air ambulance has been called today after a crash close to a major North Yorkshire road.
A helicopter from Yorkshire Air Ambulance has responded to reports of a crash on Boroughbridge Road between Ripon and Boroughbridge.

It is not yet known what happened or how many people have been injured.
