New images have been released of eight new townhouses being built in central Harrogate.
Mulgrave Properties has unveiled the first computer-generated images of its Harrogate One development, which promises modern, energy-efficient living in a traditional design.
The Harrogate One development is located off Franklin Road and is transforming the former Franklyn Metal Works and Wrayways site into a collection of contemporary homes.
Construction began earlier this year, with the first properties set to go on sale at the start of September.
Debbie Foster, sales director for Mulgrave Properties, said: "As these newly released images reveal, the eight townhouses at Harrogate One have been sensitively designed to reflect the character of existing buildings in the town’s beautiful conservation area.
"This is evident in the use of key architectural features such as bay windows as well as in the traditional stone and slate exteriors."
The homes will offer a blend of traditional appearance and modern comfort, with each property featuring an air source heat pump and all but one including parking and an electric vehicle charging point.
Ms Foster said: "However, when it comes to the interior, these homes will offer modern levels of energy efficiency, comfort and convenience.
"They all feature spacious open-plan designs ideal for contemporary lifestyles, while the three-storey layouts offer additional space and privacy for large families and when hosting guests."
Harrogate One will include one two-bedroom townhouse, five three-bedroom homes, and two four-bedroom properties.
The first homes are expected to be completed and ready for occupation in October 2026.
Ms Foster added: "What makes this a particularly sought-after location is the fact that residents will be within walking distance of Harrogate’s many attractions – from its parks and cultural venues to its independent shops, cafes and restaurants."
