A serious crash has closed a stretch of the A170 this morning (Friday).
It’s at Middleton, just west of** Pickering**.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A170 in Middleton.

“The road is closed in both directions and is likely to remain so while emergency services work at the scene.
“Please avoid the area and plan alternative routes for your journey.”
