A lorry knocked over a telegraph pole in a County Durham crash causing an electricity outage.
Police were called just before 12.20pm on Sunday, August 9, after a lorry crashed on the A689 in Crook.
Northern Powergrid confirmed the vehicle had collided with one of its low-voltage electricity poles.
No injuries were reported, and the affected part of the network was isolated while repairs were carried out.
This meant supplies were temporarily interrupted for some customers - they have since been completed with supplies restored.
The A689 from the junction with Thistleflat Road to Westfield Drive was also shut for several hours while emergency services and engineers were at the scene.
A spokesperson for Durham Police said: "Police were called just before 12.20pm on Sunday after a lorry knocked over a telegraph pole on the A689 in Crook.
"The road was closed while the pole was repaired."

A spokesperson for Northern Powergrid added: "On Sunday, August 9, a wagon collided with one of our low-voltage electricity poles.
"There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
"To keep members of the public and our team safe, we isolated the affected part of the network while repairs were carried out, which temporarily interrupted supplies to some customers.
"Repairs have now been completed and all affected customers have been restored.
"The network is operating as normal."
