A County Durham community project has been recognised with a piece of artwork.
Ferryhill Town Council was presented with the artwork by Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, a day service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, through its Community Voice Art Project.
The display now has pride of place in the main reception area of the Town Hall, where it can be seen by residents and visitors alike.
Councillor Curtis Bihari, Mayor of Ferryhill, said: "Ferryhill Town Council would like to say a big thank you to Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC for the wonderful artwork created by its members through their Community Voice Art Project."
The project was fully funded by Inclusion North and Bridge Creative, and each piece of art represents one of the organisations involved in the scheme.
Councillor Carole Atkinson, chair of the council’s events committee, joined Cllr Bihari to officially receive the artwork at the Town Hall.
