Search the Public Notice Portal Multiple roads in North Yorkshire are set to be temporarily closed for various works, according to a public notice.
North Yorkshire Council has announced a series of temporary road closures in Flaxton, Rillington, Rosedale Abbey, and Nunnington.
The closures are due to a variety of works, including disconnection works, culvert repair, cattle grid replacement, and bridge parapet repair.
Barney Lane in Flaxton will be closed to all vehicles for a temporary period between August 18 and August 22 for disconnection works.
Access to premises will still be allowed. An alternative route will be signposted.
The maximum duration of this order could be extended to November 18 if necessary.
Low Moor Lane in Rillington will also be closed for a temporary period due to culvert repair works.
The closure is scheduled to take place between September 1 and December 31, with a maximum duration set until September 18.
Again, access to premises will be maintained, and a locally signed alternative route will be available.
Heygate Bank in Rosedale Abbey is set for a temporary closure for cattle grid replacement works.
This closure is expected to last from August 31 until March 31, 2027.
Nunnington to Ellerby Bridge in Nunnington will also face a temporary closure for three weeks for bridge parapet repair works.
This closure is anticipated to occur between September 1 and November 27.
All closure periods will be clearly indicated by traffic signs, and where appropriate, local alternative routes will be marked on site.
