Abuse directed at NHS staff will only be exacerbated by pressures - Yorkshire Post Letters

Your columnist Daxa Patel, highlights the overwhelming strain which the NHS is currently experiencing, which has been exacerbated by abuse directed at staff, (The Yorkshire Post, August 7).

Unfortunately, this situation will only worsen, as demands on the NHS will increase as our population continues to rise as a consequence of mass immigration, both legal and illegal.

Our population has increased by over 10 million in the previous 30 years, and needs to be reduced to achieve sustainable levels.

A programme of mass deportations of all illegal immigrants needs to be enacted immediately, in addition to greatly reducing any further immigration. Such measures should help to stabilise and later reduce the UK's total population.

However, it is doubtful the current government would have the will to implement such necessary policies and therefore it is to be hoped that following the next general election a future Reform/Restore government will take all necessary action to achieve such objectives.
