Yorkshire Air Museum to showcase vast array of military vehicles

Military vehicles are being showcased at Yorkshire Air Museum later this month.

The Military Vehicle Show, returning after its post-pandemic revival last year, promises an array of private collections of cars, trucks, and armoured vehicles.

These will be presented across the Museum's Elvington premises on August 30.

As part of the exhibition, visitors will get the chance to see not only the military vehicles but also interact with reenactors and browse various militaria stalls and displays.

Yorkshire Air Museum's Jerry Ibbotson commented on the popularity of the event.

He said: "The Military Vehicle Show perfectly complements our collection of aircraft and has always been hugely popular with visitors.

"They will be able to experience some incredible military hardware up close.

"It’s a great way to see August out with a bang."

The Museum has confirmed it is standard admission for the day, so no special tickets are required.

The museum opens at 10am on the day of the show.
