York Castle Museum offers discounted family ticket valid for 12 months

York Castle Museum is offering a discounted family ticket for the city's inaugural Attractions Week.

From August 17 to August 23, the museum will partner with Visit York and offer a ticket for two adults and up to four children for £40.

This is in conjunction with Visit York's citywide Attractions Week scheme, which will feature offers across the city.

The ticket is valid for 12 months and gives families repeated access to the museum's renowned exhibits, including the Victorian Street, Kirkgate, recreated rooms, fashion exhibits, and authentic prison cells that once housed highwayman Dick Turpin.

The offer means families will have access to the museum's summer programme, featuring nostalgic games, floral displays, and historical cooking demonstrations.

Those who purchase the ticket during Attractions Week can also visit during October half term, the Christmas season, and school holidays up to August 2027.

York Castle Museum is home to exhibits spanning centuries, providing both entertainment and education for all visitors.

York resident children under 16 will continue to enjoy free entry when visiting with a paying adult.
