One person was taken to hospital after several ambulances and the air ambulance were called to a street near a North Yorkshire beach.
Emergency services were called at 8.30pm to Church Street in Whitby on August 12.
One person was taken to hospital by road.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
A spokesperson from Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received an emergency call at 8.30pm last night to report a concern for safety incident on Church Street in Whitby.
"A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including two ambulances and the air ambulance, and one patient was conveyed to hospital by road."
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has been contacted for more information.
