A man in his seventies has died after becoming trapped under a car he was working on in West Auckland.
Emergency services were called to a property last Friday, August 7, after the man became trapped.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is believed to have been working on the vehicle when the incident happened.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
