A County Durham man has been banned for 17 months after admitting drink driving.
Keiran Palmer, 45, of Coniston Crescent, Crook, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on August 10.
He pleaded guilty to driving a black Saab 93 on Acacia Street in Crook on April 25 while over the legal limit for alcohol.
A breath test recorded 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The court disqualified Palmer from driving for 17 months, with a possible 17-week reduction if he completes a drink driving rehabilitation course by July 12, 2027.

He was also fined £500, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £200 victim services surcharge.
Palmer will pay the total amount in weekly instalments of £50, starting September 7.
The court took his guilty plea into account when sentencing.
