A grassroots music night celebrating some of the North East's most promising original artists is set to return this autumn, with one of the region's most talked-about live bands leading the line-up.
Soundcheck will take place at ARC Stockton on Thursday, September 10, with Teesside grunge-punk band Dossers headlining a night dedicated to emerging talent from the region.
They will be joined by Northern Hospitality, Risco and Rose Malus.

Baxter, lead singer of Dossers, said: "We're proper buzzing to be headlining ARC this September. It's going to be a massive moment for us."
The band have been steadily building a loyal following across the North East.
Baxter said: "Together, we're born out of frustration.
"We're disillusioned with a lot of what's going on, and our way of fighting back is to play with anger, energy and honesty.

"We can't wait to bring that to Soundcheck."
Dossers have previously played at Stockton Calling, Twisterella, and BBC Introducing at Waves.
Also taking to the stage are Northern Hospitality, who have enjoyed a summer packed with notable appearances including Kendal Calling and support slots for Pete Doherty, Kaiser Chiefs, Feeder, and Tom Meighan.
Their guitar-driven indie sound has earned them attention as one of the North’s most promising new acts.

Risco, another Stockton favourite, will bring their signature blend of surf rock, indie, and alternative influences.
The band is known for storytelling songs rooted in everyday life and laced with humour and heart.
The night will open with Rose Malus, whose latest single Abruptly Uninspired showcases their evolving sound.
Frontman Dylan is a familiar face on the local music scene, with many recognising him from his work behind the bar at ARC, making the performance something of a homecoming.

Chantal Taylor, marketing and communications manager at ARC Stockton, said: "One of the best things about Soundcheck is seeing artists who are already building a name for themselves across the region take that next step.
"We want people to come through the doors not knowing every band on the bill and leave having discovered their new favourite."
Ms Taylor said: "That's what grassroots music is all about.
"Teesside has always produced brilliant artists and Soundcheck is our way of making sure they have a stage, an audience, and the opportunity to keep growing."
Ms Taylor said: "Dossers feel like the perfect band to headline this one.
"They've worked incredibly hard, built a loyal following and represent exactly what Soundcheck is about.
"Alongside Northern Hospitality, Risco, and Rose Malus, it's a line-up that really showcases the quality and diversity of original music being made across the North East right now."
Soundcheck was launched earlier this year to provide a regular platform for original live music and to help emerging artists reach new audiences.
