Knaresborough's Frazer Theatre to present 'exciting no frills rock' from Vincent Flatts Final Drive

Fans of rock, blues, and country Americana are in for a treat at Knaresborough’s Feva festival when Vincent Flatts Final Drive hit the stage.

Taking place at Frazer Theatre on Friday, August 21 at 7.30pm, this exciting, no frills, no fluff rock band are led by a frontman with a killer voice and a memorable line in stage patter.

Described as a “southern-fused boogie blues band who are loud, infectious and loads of fun”, this four-piece band consist of Steve ‘Bertie’ Burton (vocals), Gary Harper (guitar), Russ Cook (bass) and Rich Shelton (drums).

A spokesperson for Vincent Flatts Final Drive said: “Bertie loves a story, and that comes through in every song the band plays live.

"Some are originals, telling colourful tales from a truly colourful past, while others are picked because they mean something to the band at that time.”

The band’s 2020 album Back in the Saddle recorded in North London with its sharply curated selection of ten cover versions was highly acclaimed.

Feva festival will run in Knaresborough from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 23 at venues and outdoor locations across the town, indoors and out.

Organised entirely by volunteers, the not-for-profit festival showcases the extraordinary talent and community spirit that make Knaresborough such a special place.

As always, Feva will deliver an eclectic programme featuring live music, theatre, visual arts, family entertainment, exhibitions, workshops, spoken word, outdoor performances and much more.
