Dealer who hid drugs in a baby car seat jailed after being caught with cocaine again

A drug dealer who previously hid his illicit wares in a baby’s car seat has been jailed after being found with cocaine again.

Stephen Jackson - who has been described by police as a ‘blight on the community’ - was first arrested at his home in July 2025 after police executed a warrant.

Officers found almost £20,000 worth of cocaine was seized from the address and drugs were found a baby’s car seat.

The 27-year-old admitted possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and was given a suspended sentence in December 2025.

Jackson, of Kenton Way, Holme Wood in Bradford, has now been jailed for four years and nine months after police raided his address in May this year.

He admitted possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and was jailed at Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday (Aug 11).

Sergeant Charlie Smallwood, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “Jackson is a blight on the community of Holme Wood selling Class A drugs.

“He continued to sell drugs despite being given a suspended sentence.

“We welcome that he will now spend years in jail. Drugs cause misery in communities and we are committed to getting them off the streets to make the streets safer.

“This action is part of ongoing work by Bradford South NPT with partners as part of Operation Sweetgill to tackle criminality in the area.”
