A person has been left injured after being trapped in a vehicle following a crash in York.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in Sutton Road, Wigginton, at about 3.30pm on Wednesday (August 12).
The occupant of one vehicle was cut free by firefighters and treated by an ambulance crew, North Yorkshire Fire and Resue Service said.
Firefighters then monitored the other vehicle, which the fire service said was electric.

“Crews extricated the occupant of the vehicle using edraulic cutting equipment and left them in the hands of the ambulance.
“Crews then monitored one of the vehicles which was electric for a suitable length of time.”
