A top TV chef will be visiting York – and handing out free samples of his products.
Ainsley Harriott will meet shoppers at Morrisons in Foss Islands Road on Monday (August 17).
It comes as part of his tour which will see the Ainsley Foods Company donate £3,000 worth of food in each of the three regions the chef visits.
Ainsley, 69, who appeared on BBC cooking game shows Can't Cook, Won't Cook and Ready Steady Cook, said he is “looking forward to getting out and meeting shoppers”.
“There's nothing better than chatting about food, sharing a few recipe ideas and hopefully putting a smile on people's faces,” he said. “Come along, say hello, try our delicious couscous and who knows... you might even leave with a little surprise!"

The tour forms part of Ainsley Foods' 'Where's Ainsley?' campaign, giving shoppers the chance to meet one of the chefs.
