Police have arrested a woman after items were stolen from vehicles in three York streets.
The 26-year-old woman was detained yesterday (Tuesday) on suspicion of entering three vehicles in the Acomb area.
She has since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
Kingsway West, York
The thefts all took place overnight on Sunday (9 August).
They occurred on Kingsway West, Oldman Court and Ascot Way. Several items, including bank cards, were taken.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any residents to check their CCTV/doorbell cameras to see if anything has been captured or if anybody has any information that could assist our investigation to contact us.”
