One person had to be cut from the wreckage of their vehicle after a crash near York this afternoon (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the incident on Sutton Road, Wigginton at3.27pm.
Firefighters from York and Huntington went to the two-vehicle collision.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews extricated the occupant of the vehicle using e-draulic cutting equipment and left them in the hands of the ambulance.
“Crews then monitored one of the vehicles which was electric for a suitable length of time.”
