A restaurant group is inviting everyone to add a splash of colour and a dash of heat to their midweek plans.
Pho, which has a restaurant in Newcastle, has launched Pink Wednesdays across the UK for August, offering selected menu items for just £5 to anyone who dines in wearing pink.

The promotion celebrates the introduction of the world’s first pink sriracha sauce, made in partnership with Thai condiment brand SABZU and available exclusively at Pho locations throughout the month.
Libby Andrews, marketing director at Pho, said: "Not only does the new SABZU Pink Sriracha look amazing, it is delicious and so fun for summer."
"We are really excited to be the only place in the UK to serve it for the month of August."

Pho describes the sauce as a “reinvention of the global hot sauce,” made with white Thai chillies and coloured naturally with hibiscus.
The pink sauce inspired the launch of Pink Wednesdays.
Diners wearing pink can enjoy a spicy pink margarita - infused with dragonfruit and Thai chillies - as well as select dishes including crispy spring rolls, chicken wings and summer rolls, all for just £5 each.

The offer is available every Wednesday throughout August at all Pho locations.
