Soigné, which opened at Lowfields in Ingleby Barwick last May, will soon take over the former Fourteen Drops on the town’s High Street.
The firm, known for creating hand-crafted croissants, cruffins, and other pastry delights, announced the move in June when signs were displayed in the windows of the bar.
And now, new pictures have revealed how work is well underway on transforming the space.
The Fourteen Drops signs have been taken down and the green exterior of the venue has been sanded down.

New boards have been added beneath the windows and painted white, with parts of the old green paint also starting to be covered by the white colour.
The inside of the space also appears to have been stripped out with work ongoing on the interior as of Tuesday morning (August 11).

An opening date for Soigné, which is pronounced ‘swan-yay’ and comes from the French word meaning “elegantly made or carefully attended to”, is not yet known.
However, the site was previously touted to open this summer.
Run by father and son Stephen and Josh Palmer, who have spent decades in the hospitality industry, Soigné was born in Ingleby Barwick last year.
Stephen, a baker and pastry chef with a storied career across Europe, and rising chef Josh said at the time that they wanted to create something “timeless and new”.

Every ingredient at Soigné is said to be "chosen with obsessive care" - with every pastry handcrafted and containing zero additives.
The duo use cultured butter from the Highlands of Scotland, premium Canadian wheat for “perfect lamination”, and the finest high-cocoa content chocolate.
Fourteen Drops, which first opened on the High Street in 2017, is now located in its market hall above Strickland and Holt, in the former Joe Rigatoni’s.
