POLICE are appealing for information after gardening equipment was stolen in York from a hardware store.
North Yorkshire Police said the theft took place at 1.30pm on June 21 at the shop in Gillygate, close to the city centre.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a person they wish to speak to, saying they may have information which could help the force's investigation.

The crime reference is 12260115113 and should be provided when contacting police.
