Spennymoor will welcome a new coffee shop later this year as Siesta Coffee continues its expansion across the North East.
The dog-friendly café will open on Cambridge Street, joining the pre-existing shops in Newton Aycliffe, Catterick, Peterlee, and Thornaby.
It is not just the shops that are embedded in northern culture either, with their signature Siesta Arabica Roast being roasted at their local roastery.

The brand celebrated the shop nearing completion earlier this week by sharing a ‘sneak peek’ of their newest store along with a welcome message.
On social media, Siesta Coffee bosses said: “Can’t wait to share more and welcome you all in September, but before all that, don’t forget to sign up for some amazing offers using the link in bio - see you there!”
Residents were quick to share their excitement, with one comment reading: “We absolutely love the one in Catterick!"

The post also confirmed there will be an exclusive pre-launch collaboration that offers customers one month free at the local Be Inspired Gym.
Customers can already access the company’s own organic, unhomogenised whole milk at self-dispensing machines in both Aycliffe and Peterlee, with the milk provided by local farms.
Those visiting the new branch will also be able to enjoy Siesta Coffee's signature milkshakes, with flavours such as Bueno and bubble gum leading the way.
The new Spennymoor branch is expected to open this September.
