A SUPERMARKET in a coastal North Yorkshire has been evacuated.
Sainsbury's in Stainsacre Lane, Whitby has reportedly been evacuated after a fire at around 1pm this afternoon (August 11).
Eyewitness reports state that there is smoke coming from the back of the building and that three fire vehicles are currently working at the scene.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Sainsburys have been contacted for comment.
