Acomb Artisan Market returns to York with food, crafts and summer treats

A summer edition of the Acomb Artisan Market is set to return this weekend.

Taking place on Saturday, August 15, in Front Street, the event will feature a vibrant mix of independent traders offering handmade crafts, homewares, fresh baked goods, preserves, artwork, and more.

Street food, sweet treats, and refreshing summer snacks will also be on offer.

Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made, said: "Our markets are all about celebrating the incredible passion and craftsmanship of local independent traders.

"We’re thrilled to be back on Front Street this weekend.

"Whether you’re looking for handcrafted summer gifts, fresh local produce, or a delicious bite to eat with the family during the school holidays, there really is something for everyone."

The market promises a day of shopping, eating, and exploring, all while supporting the independent businesses that help define the character of the community.

Hilda Amaku, owner of The Mini Loaf UK, said: "We’re really excited to be joining the Acomb Artisan Market for the first time this August.

"We’re looking forward to meeting new customers, connecting with fellow independent traders, and being part of the Acomb community."

Attendees are encouraged to visit the market to support York’s creative small business community.
